On July 13, at 9:04 pm, Jason Christopher Adams, 19, and Kadin Joseph Vaccarino, 18, both of Inverness, were arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Kadin was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of cannabis less than 20 grams ($3,000 bond), and Mr Vaccarino was charged with possession of cannabis less than 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($2,000 bond).
On July 13, at 1:28 pm, Brian Richard Froehlich, 41, of Hernando, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on a warrant for violation of felony probation or community control (no bond).
On July 13, at 2:51 am, Forrest Robert Haag, 32, of Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with domestic battery (no bond).
On July 13, at 4:40 pm, Kenneth J. Huscher, 70, of Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with resisting an officer without violence, and trespassing after warning ($1,500 bond). The arrest report stated that Mr. Huscher was uncooperative at the Security Station while entering the Citrus County Courthouse in Inverness, and eventually used profanc languagea, and when he continued to refuse to comply with security, was asked to leave the courthouse. However, the report stated, he refused to comply with deputies and/or leave the courthouse and yelled, using profane language, and was taken into custody.
On July 13, at 12:10 pm, Jeffrey Glenn Sorrell, 30, of Peoria, Illinois, turned himself in at the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Warrants Division and was arrested on two Citrus County writs of bodily attachment, each in the amount of $677 for failure to pay child support, with his combined bond set at $1,354.
On July 13, at 4:18 pm, Christopher Sean Sullivan, 32, of Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with domestic battery (no bond), and battery ($1,000 bond).
On July 13, at 3:15 pm, Franklin Eugene Tompkins, 50, of Homosassa, who was already an inmate at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was found to have a Hernando County, Florida arrest warrant and was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on 3 counts of trespassing ($6,000 bond).
On July 13, at 4:45 pm, Nicholas Paul Trombetta, 28, of Ocala, who was already an inmate at the Citrus County Detention Facility (arrested on July 12), was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with violation of felony probation for original charges of willful fleeing from a law enforcement officer, and possession of heroin (no bond). His probation runs from July 9, 2020 through July 8, 2022.
July 12, 2020
On Jul 12, at 10:54 pm, Candice Elizabeth Campbell, 21, of Hernando, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).
On July 12, at 10:12 pm, William G. Carr, 62, of Beverly Hills, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with disorderly public intoxication, and trespassing after warning ($2,500 bond). The arrest report stated that manangement of Crump's Landing, located at 11210 W. Halls River Rd. in Homosassa, asked Mr. Carr to leave the property because he was yelling racial slurs and profanity at other patrons, but he refused. A deputy arrived to hear Mr. Carr cursing patrons and yelling racial slurs; Mr. Carr then began cursing the deputies, as well. The arrest report stated that Mr. Carr smelled strongly of alcohol and was staggering and refused to leave the bar, as ordered, and when deputies attempted to take him into custody, he resisted the deputy and threatened him.
On July 12, at 8:07 am, Tyler Mathias Fisher, 43, of Tavares, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, first offense; resisting an officer without violence, and fleeing from an officer in a marked vehicle with lights and sirens activated ($8,500 bond).
On July 12, at 5:14 pm, Kevin August Kasten, 46, of Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with domestic battery, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill (no bond).
On July 12, at 10:54 pm, two people were arrested during a traffic stop of a blue Chevolet Impala, at the intersection of N. Lance Ter. and E. Brave Ln. in Hernando, due to the vehicle having an inoperable license plate light. The report stated that when passenger Nicholas Paul Trombetta, 22, of Ocala, stepped out of the vehice, six packages of heroin totaling approximately 1.21 grams, fell to the doorjam, and he was also found to be in possession of numerous small baggies containing heroin residue. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possesion of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond). Driver Ciera Shanel Jenkins, 28, of Inverness, was charged with falsely identifying herself to a law enforcement officer, and driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, second offense ($2,000 bond).

On July 11, around 8:00 pm, Kendra Rose Metts, 28, and Jon Joseph Metts, 42, both of Inverness, were arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with child neglect without great bodily harm by willful or culpable negligence. Their bonds were set at $2,000 each.
On July 11, at 7:22 pm, Tiffany Starr Posey, 27, of Belleview, Florida, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with retail petit theft, second offense ($1,000 bond). The report stated that Posey was shopping at the Homosassa Walmart store and asked employees in the Electronics Department to give her a shopping bag, but employees were instructed to not give her the bag, because she had clothing items in her hands. The report stated that she then went to the Jewelry Department and obtained a shopping bag from behind the counter, walked around the store, placing items inside the bag, went into the bathroom, and then attempted to leave the store with the items, valued at $64.61, when she was detained by a store security officer. The report stated, when a deputy arrived at the store, Ms. Posey was attempting to leave and identified herself to the deputy by a false name, Bridget Walters, and stated she had to get home to her children, that she'd taken methamphetamine and was coming down from her high, having difficulty conversing. The report stated that Ms. Posey was convicted of retail theft on July 19, 2012.
