Levy County, Florida - Eugene A. Light, 72, of Bronson, FL, became the subject of a child pornography investigation, in late December, when detectives with the Levy County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that he was transmitting and receiving child pornography. Detectives worked in conjunction with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigative teams, and on Jan. 6, executed a search warrant at Mr. Light's home, and he was arrested, charged with twenty counts of possession of child pornography. Additional charges could be filed as this investigation continues. Light was present at his first appearance in court on Jan. 7, and his bond was set at $2 million dollars.
