Covid-19 Vaccination Drive-Thru for ages 65 & older

Thursday, Jan. 7, and Saturday, Jan. 9, 9:00 am-3:00 pm while supplies last
Beverly Hills, FL - The Florida Department of Health in Citrus County (DOH-Citrus) will be offering COVID-19 vaccines to individuals 65 and older at two drive-thru clinics from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., as long as supplies last, on Thursday, Jan. 7 and Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Central Ridge District Park, located at 6905 N. Lecanto Hwy. in Beverly Hills.
Due to a limited supply, the vaccines will be provided at no cost, while supplies last. Each person must provide a valid ID and plan to be in Citrus County to receive their second-round shot, 28 days after their first dose. Individuals should expect a wait. and plan to remain in their vehicle the entire time.
Only the Moderna vaccine will be given at this time. Prior to receiving the vaccine, individuals will be required to download and complete the Department of Health COVID-19 Vaccine Screening and Consent, which can be obtained here: citrus.floridahealth.gov/_files/_documents/FINALModernaVaccineScreeningandConsentForm12.20.20.pdf. A Moderna Fact Sheet with information on what to expect during and after the injection will also be given before receiving the vaccine: citrus.floridahealth.gov/_files/_documents/ModernaCOVID-19VaccineFactSheet.pdf. Both documents will be available on site.
Individuals are encouraged to contact their primary care provider with questions about whether they should receive the vaccine before coming to the site.
Each person will receive a second dose reminder card that lists the date and the manufacturer for the first vaccination, as well as date the second dose is due. The second dose of the Moderna vaccination should be received 28 days after the initial dose. The second dose must be from the same manufacturer as the first vaccine.
After receiving the vaccination, recipients will be asked to remain on site for 15 minutes for medical monitoring.

Vaccination Registration Information: The Florida Department of Health is not accepting reservations for vaccination at this time. They have filled all reservation slots for their current stock of vaccine. The department has asked that citizens check back often for information as to when reservations for the vaccine will re-open.
