Tahzon Isaiah Majurie, 18, of Tampa, FL, was charged with battery of a committment facility staff member ($2,000 bond). Mr. Majurie, a resident of the Cypress Creek Juvenile Offender Correctional Center in Lecanto, FL, is accused of hitting his head against a wall, causing several detention officers to attempt to gain control of him, then of biting the inner left arm of one of the officers, breaking the skin and holding on for several minutes.

Charlene Dawn Roberts, 37, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with retail petit theft of $100 or less ($500 bond).

Richard Rutkosky, Jr., 36, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested on two warrants for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge ($5,000 bond).

Kevin Michael Briguglio, 39, of Floral City, FL, was charged with violation of an injunction by going to or being within 500 feet of petitioner's residence, school, or place of employment, etc. (no bond).

James Luther Hall, 52, of Dunnellon, FL, was charged with aggravated battery, felony domestic battery by strangulation, aggravated assault, and false imprisonment (no bond). Mr. Hall is accused of imprisoning a woman for almost four hours, and physically abusing her, while under the influence of alcohol.

Julijana Prest, 50, of Dunnellon, FL, was charged with public assistance fraud of more that $200 within twelve consecutive months ($2,000 bond).

Sylvia May Grimmage, 44, of Inverness, FL, was charged with trespassing ($1,000 bond).

Daniel Lee Vasquez, 40, of Webster, FL, was charged with possession of a controlled substance ($2,000 bond). Duriing a traffic stop due to an obscured license plate, on S. Florida Ane. and E. Mamgnolia St. in Floral City, FL, Mr. Vasquez, a passsenger inside the vehicle, was found to be in possession of approximately 1.47 grams of methamphetamine.

Linda Jane Hacek, 66, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with retail petit theft of more than $100, but less than $300.

Davin Scott Rees, 24, of Leslie, GA, was charged with domestic battery (no bond).

Thomas Gabriel Gallegos, 43, of Brooksville, FL, was charged with felony petit theft (felony theft due to Mr. Gallegos having four previous theft convictions), with his bond set at $2,000. The arrest report stated, that in two separate trips from the grocery store to a vehicle in the parking lot of the Winn-Dixie, located at 1651 SE Hwy. 19, in Crystal River, FL, Mr. Gallegos is accused of taking three items with a combined value of $238.98, without paying for the items. On the first trip, Mr. Gallegos allegedly took a beef ribeye roast, and on the second trip, an 18 pack of Corona beer and a 12 pack of Bud Light seltzer, and he then drove away. However, a store clerk took Mr. Gallegos' license plate number, which was registered to a residence on W. Stuart Ln. in Homosassa, FL, where Mr. Gallegos was located and taken into custody.

Harold Danny Tillis, 51, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with failing to report his address change within 48 hours as required of a sexual predator, possession of cannabis less than 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($4,000); and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill (no bond). The report stated that a relative of Mr. Tillis complained, that during an argument, he'd pulled out a pocket knife, opened the blade, and threatened to cut her throat with it. Mr. Tillis told deputies, that for about 30 days, he'd been living in a tent in a wooded area behind the victim's property, in the 5000 block of S. Mason Creek Rd. in Homosassa, although he'd reported his address on July 21, 2020, as a transient in Tampa, FL and had not changed it to Homosassa. Mr. Tillis was found to be in possession of marijuana and a homemade smoking pipe with marijuana residue.
