On July 12, at 8:40 pm, Joanna Elizabeth Applegate, 37, of Inverness, was arrested at her residence by the Citrus County Sherriff's Office on a Hillsborough County, Florida warrant for violation of felony probation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance (no bond). At 10:40 pm, she was arrested on a second Hillsborough County, Florida warrant for violation of felony probation on an original charge of driving under the influence (no bond).
On July 12, at 7:57 am, Jody Lee Watson, 46, of Floral City, was arrested by the Citrus County Sherriff's Office, charged with domestic battery (no bond).
On July 11, at 8:02 pm, Caroline Camilla Baxter, 49, of Crystal River, was issued a notice to appear citation by the Citrus County Sherriff's Office for retail petit theft of $100 or less, with a mandatory court appearance set for July 30. Ms. Baxter is accused of checking herself out at the Lecanto Walmart store and scanning and paying for some items, but not others, then placing all the merchandise in her shopping cart, and passing all points of sale, without paying for the unscanned merchandise. The report stated that Ms. Baxter admitted her guilt and has no previous criminal record.
On July 11, at 4:38 pm, Aaron Rocky Scott, 32, of Hernando, was arrested by the Citrus County Sherriff's Office, charged with criminal mischief of $200 or more, but less than $1,000 ($1,000 bond).
On July 10, at 4:53 am, Amy Lou McGlocklin, 39, of Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sherriff's Office, on a charge of being financially responsible for driving while license suspended or revoked ($1,000 bond).
On July 9, at 7:25 pm, Dorothy Irene Pep Beischer, 42, of Lecanto was detained by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
On July 9, at 12:49 pm, Kimberly Nicole Gilbert, 37, of Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sherriff's Office, charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).
On July 9, at 9:07 am, Tony Ray Jacobs, 53, of Hernando, was arrested by the Citrus County Sherriff's Office, charged with trafficking or endeavoring to traffic in stolen property, and giving false verification of ownership or false identification to a pawnbroker ($10,000 bond).
On July 9, at 4:25 pm, Jason Michael Perry, 42, of Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, as the result of a traffic crash that occurred in Crystal River, at N. Citrus Ave. and W. Emerald Oaks Dr. A witness reported a reckless driver in a gold Toyota (Camry) who was identified as Mr. Perry, who was determined the at fault driver. Mr. Perry submited to roadside sobriety testing for a few exercises, then walked to the deputy's patrol vehicle and failed to continue. At the detention facility, Perry's breath alcohol test results were measured at 0.00 and 0.00; he provided a urine sample that will be used for further testing at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Lab. Perry was charged with driving under the influence (DUI), DUI with serious bodily injury to another, and DUI with property damage ($22,000 bond). He was also issued traffic citations for each of the offenses (with a court appearance for the DUI citation on July 23), in addition to a citation for careless driving.
On July 9, at 8:36 am, Gregory Nelson Raines, Jr. 36, of Ocala, was arrested by the Citrus County Sherriff's Office, charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting an officer without violence, and possession of cannabis less than 20 grams ($14,000 bond).
