Looking for an historical and memorable Christmas present to give your family
this Christmas? How about one of the leaves on the LEVY COUNTY PIONEER
WALL? The wall is permanently located on the west wall inside the headquarters
of the Levy County Historical Society in Bronson.
Your family name can be inscribed in one of three ways on the wall by
Bronson artist, Ed Rowe and will leave an unforgettable legacy of your family. The
tree holds15-leaves at a value of $10,000 each. At this time 12-leaves are available.
The wall depicts the industries that enticed our ancestors to settle in Levy
County. Timber, turpentine, phosphate, farm land, cattle and railroads.
We welcome you to come by any Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM to select the
location of your family leaf. For more information contact Toni Collins at (352) 490-
5636 -or- levycountyhistory@gmail.com.
The Historical Society headquarters is located at 397 E. Hathaway Avenue
(US 27 A), Bronson. (One-half block south of the Levy County Courthouse.)
