Citrus County, Florida - The Citrus County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) is asking for the public to help them identify the suspect in a number of vehicle burglaries.
During Dec. 8-10, the agency received reports of nine burglaries to unlocked vehicles during night and early morning hours in the area of N. Croft Ave. in Inverness. Items taken included cash, purses and laptop computers.
The suspect from surveillance footage is a white or Hispanic male, possibly in his late 20s. The suspect left in a white or gray vehicle that may be a Toyota Corolla.
If you have information about these crimes or know the identity of the suspect, please contact the CCSO at (352) 726-1121.
The CCSO cautions you to lock your vehicle doors, and to remove valuables from your vehicle, as it takes only a few seconds for thieves to steal your belongings.
