Josie Michelle Benitez, 20, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 5, charged with battery, with her bond set at release on her own recognizance.
Guy Romero Bowers, 25, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 3, charged with probation violation (no bond).
Christian Miles Cannon, 32, of Newberry, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 5, charged with driving while license suspended as an habitual offender ($25,000 bond).
Deleon Damon Cheevers, 19, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland, FL Police Department, Dec. 2, charged with possession of a firearm. His bond was set at release on his own recognizance.
Miguel Filip Colon,18, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 3, charged with disorderly public intoxication ($500 bond).
Gerald Edward Cook, 56, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 4, charged with agravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill ($25,000 bond).
Ismael Corrales Lorenzana, 31, of Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 2, on an out of county warrant ($513 bond).
Brandy Dayton, 36, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Depatment, charged with a hit and run traffic crash. Her bond was set at release on her own recognizance.
James Denley, 38, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Parol, Dec. 6, charged with driving under the influence ($10,000 bond).
Cody Wayne Durrance, 31, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 4, charged with probation violation (no bond).
Kimber Foster, 28, of Chiefland, FL, surrendered herself and was booked into the Levy Couty Detention Bureau, charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription ($5,000 bond).
Terri Ann Harris, 48, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 6, on 2 counts of failure to appear in court ($4,000 bond).
Justin Timothy Hart, 32, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 5, charged with possession of a conrolled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment ($15,000 bond).
Johnny Kirt Hayes, Jr., 53, of Yankeetown, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 6, as the result of a 911 call for service by a woman who claimed he'd choked her, taken her cell phone, and left the residence on a motorcyle before deputies arrived. Mr. Hayes, who was found to be in possession of the victim's cell phone, returned to the residence while deputies were on scene. A deputy reported that the residence, a camper, was in disarray, and the victim had red marks to her neck that Mr. Hayes claimed were from wrestling with several women at Scooter Haven (located in Inglis, FL). He also claimed that the red mark under his right eye was the result of an altercation with a man at Scooter Haven. Mr. Hayes, who was determined to be the primary aggressor, was charged with battery and obstruction of justice ($20,000 bond).
Randy Nick Jordan, 53, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO), Dec. 3, accused of making numerous unauthorized charges totaling approximately $16,188.72, during Aug. 8 through Nov. 5, 2020, on the credit card of AmVets Post 444, located at 13751 NE 52nd Place in Williston. The report stated that AmVets Post 444 gave Mr. Jordan the deadline of 6:00 pm on Nov. 25, 2020 to pay the personal charges he accrued on the credit card, and the LCSO was notified when he did not repay the charges by the deadline. Mr. Jordan was charged with grand theft of $10,000 or more, but less than $20,000; and credit card fraud of $100 or more, with his bond set at $40,000. Mr. Jordan told a deputy that he paid AmVets bills from his home computer, and did not realize that he was paying personal bills with the AmVets credit card, the report stated, but he was unable to explain how several in-person charges had been made, charges that incuded his personal business, Ace Remodeling.
Michael Wayne Liles, 36, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 4, charged with possession of a short barreled gun, rifle, or machine gun ($5,000 bond).
Julio Lopez-Bautista, 49, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Williston Police Department, Dec. 5, charged with battery, with his bond set at $1,000 cash.
Jonathan Michael Maybury Edwarads, 29, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 1, on an out of county warrant (no bond).
Adam Lee McClelland, 43, of Alden, MI, was arrested by the Williston, FL Police Department, Nov. 30, charged with petit theft from a merchant, second offense ($2,500 bond).
Briana Joy McDaniel, 28, of Fanning Springs, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 1, on an out of county warrant ($200 bond).
Maria Mendieta-Palacios, 36, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 4, charged with battery ($10,000 bond). She's accused of striking the victim on the back his head with a piece of glass obtained from a wall clock, while allegedly intoxicated. The report stated that Ms. Mendieta-Palacious had minor cuts on her right hand, but stated that she'd smashed the glass onto a kitchen counter, not on the victim's head.
Regina Mims, 58, of Fanning Springs, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 4, charged with battery. Her bond was set at release on her own recognizance.
Andrew O. Phillips, 42, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 30, charged with trespassing ($2,500 bond).
Christopher Rigos, 24, of Inverness, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 24, and booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau, Nov. 30 on a violation of probation charge (no bond).
David Runion, 37, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 2, charged with withholding support of child, children or spouse, with his bond set at $1,270 cash.
Joseph Trumon Russ, 27, of Dunnellon, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 30, charged with driving under the influence ($500 bond). The arrest report stated that a deputy observed Mr. Russ driving erratically, weaving in and out of his traffic lane at 80 mph, on Levy County Rod 337, about a mile north of SR 121. The report stated that he exhibited signs of impairment, performed poorly on roadside sobriety testing, and his breath alcohol test results were measured at 0.139, 0.117, and 0.113 (the legal limit is 0.08).
Dante Evan Schmucker, 29, of Orange Park, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO), Dec. 3, after he fled from a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officer in Chiefland, FL area, who noticed that his vehicle, a white Kia Sorrento SUV that had been reported stolen from Valdosta, GA, was disabled with body damage and a flat tire. After a pursuit by the two agencies, during which he broke into a home in Bronson and stole the keys to a 2008 Pontiac, then stole the Pontiac and crashed it into a LCSO patrol vehicle, he was taken into custody, charged with leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, reckless driving, driving under the influence, driving under the influence with property damage, 2 counts of fleeing from law enforcement, attaching registration to a license plate not assigned to it, operating a vehicle without a valid license, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, criminal mischief with property damage greater than $200 but less than $1,000, unarmed burglary of an occupied dwelling, 2 counts of motor vehicle theft, and possession of methamphetamine ($1,465,000 bond).
Christopher Mark Sherwood, 44, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department, Dec. 6, charged with possession of methaqualone or a derivitive of methaqualone, and possession of drug equipment ($15,000 bond).
Justin Todd Shettleroe, 37, of Cawker City, KS, was arrested by the Williston Police Department, Nov. 30, charged with shoplifting from a merchant, second offense. His bond was set at release on his own recognizance.
Sharon M. Tuttle, 59, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Williston Police Department, Dec. 6, charged with battery (no bond).
Dawn Marie Williams, 39, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 4, charged with grand theft of $300 or more, but less than $5,000; fraudulent use of a credit card to obtain goods valued at $300 or more, and larceny of a credit card ($17,500 bond). Ms. Williams is accused of taking the victim's debit/credit card and making several transactions with it that totaled $785.20, during Oct. 23 through Oct. 31, 2020.
