Dana Ray Doss, Jr., 43, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County, FL warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation on original charges of driving under the influence and driving while license suspended or revoked (no bond).

Andrew Harold Howard, 35, of Hernando, FL, was arrested at E. Orchid St. and N. Cattail Ter. in Hernando, on a Citrus County warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of driving while license suspended or revoked ($2,000 bond).

Troy Elwood McLean, 46, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with fleeing from a law enforcement officer in pursuit in a marked vehicle with sirens and lighjts activated while disregarding safety ($10,000 bond. He was also arrested on a warrant for violating an injunction for protection against domestic violence, aggravated battery (intentionally causing great bodily harm, permanent disability or disfigurment), and felony domestic battery by strangulation, with his bond set at none.

Steven Ronnie Funaiole, 57, of Inverness, FL, was issued a notice to appear in court citation for possession of cannabis less than 20 grams, during a traffic stop on Hwy. 44 East, due to having an "unreadable tag," according to the report.

Christopher Michael Daughtery, 32, of Inverness, FL, was arrested on three Citrus County warrants: one for failure to appear in court on an original charge of driving while license suspended or revoked ($2,500 bond), one for failure to appear in court on a battery charge (no bond), and the other a writ of bodily attachment in the amount of $870 for failure to pay child support (cash purge bond of $870).

Richard John Smith, 56, of Hernando, FL, was charged with hindering, delaying, or preventing communication to a law enforcement officer or judge information relating to an offense or violation of probation; and felony battery (committing battery with one prior conviction for battery), with his bond set at none.

Shane Michael Matthew Meyers, 28, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with criminal mischief of $1,000 or more ($2,000 bond), which placed him in violation of his felony probation for possession of a controlled substance, so he was additionally charged with violation of probation (no bond).

Stacey Leigh Surdi, 56, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with violation of misdemeanor probation (no bond).

Douglas Eugene Garnett, 53, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of driving while license suspended or revoked ($2,000 bond).

Andrew Harold Howard, 35, of Hernando, FL, who was already incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on a Marion County, FL warrant for failure to appear in court on a mmisdemeanor charge of petit theft, second offense ($2,000 bond).
 
Alexander Raheem Ellison, 24, of Hernando, FL, was arrested during a traffic stop that was conducted when a deputy, aware that his driver's license had been cancelled (on Aug. 27, 2020, for failure to pay a traffic fine) saw him driving a red Kia at 3:51 pm. He was charged with driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked ($500 bond). He was also arrested on a Citrus County warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation for discharging a firearm in public and improper exhibition of a firearm (no bond).

Tyler Steven Smith, 29, of Beverly Hills, FL, was charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation, and domestic battery (no bond).

Troy Elwood McLean, 46, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle ($5,000 bond).

Kyle Phillip Cole, 25, of Floral City, FL, was charged with driving under the influence ($1,000 bond).

Jessica Ann Sensini, 29, of Hernando, FL, was arrested on a warrant for petit theft of $100 or more, but less than $750 ($500 bond).

Demare Tavis Barnes, II, 33, an inmate at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was charged with murder (not premeditated), with his bond set at $50,000. Mr. Barnes is accused of getting into an altercation at the jail with another inmate, who died at an area hospital as the result of injuries sustained during the altercation. The deceased inmate is Wayne Washer, 53, who was serving a sentence with the Florida Department of Corrections and had recently been transferred to the detention facility for a court appearance. Mr. Barnes has been in custody at the detention facility on a no-bond status since his arrest on Oct. 6, 2020, on charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Christopher Lee Siebenaler, 43, of Homosassa, FL, was found to be in possession of 0.16 gram of methamphetamine, a shortened straw that tested positive for methamphetamine, and a glass smoking pipe during a traffic stop conducted at the Marathon gas station, located at 1010 N. U.S. Hwy. 41 (N. Florida Ave.) in Inverness, FL. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).

Kiyana Theresa Brown, 19, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with battery of a law enforcement officer, firefighter, emergency medical services provider, or public transit employee ($5,000 bond).

Felicia Marie Varner, 27, of Crystal River, FL, was issued a notice to appear in court citation for retail petit theft. The report stated that Ms. Brown failed to scan and pay for several items when she checked out her purchases at the self checkout area of the Lecanto, FL Walmart store.

Devona Denise Ruiz, 42, of Inverness, FL, while an inmate at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was charged with battery of a visitor or another detainee ($2,000 bond).

Christopher Lee Armstrong, 35, of Inverness, FL, was arrested at his residence on a Broward County, FL warrant for violation of felony probation on orginial charges of possesion of clonzepam and possession of cannabis (no bond).

Hallie Lynn Hewitt, 24, of Beverly Hills, FL, was charged with petit theft of less than $100.

Brian Christopher Lendin, 56, of St. Augustine, FL, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a felony charge.

Brian Scott Nevills, 28, of Floral City, FL, was charged with resisting an officer without violence, and trespassing after warning ($2,000 bond).

Christopher Schultz Gilles, 29, of Hernando, FL, was charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation, and violation of condition of pretrial release for a domestic violence arrest (no bond).

Anissa Jo Brown, 44, of Inverness, FL, was charged with resisting an officer without violence, and felony petit theft (two or more theft convictions), with her bond set at $3,000.

James Edward La Faso, 60, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested at his residence on a Citrus County warrant for two counts of contracting without a license ($2,000 bond).

Philip Glenn Shafer, 39, of Hernando, FL, who was already incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on a Hernando County warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of having no motor vehicle registration ($2,000 bond).
