Citrus County arrests, July 1-10, 2020

On July 10, at 12:59 am, Philip Elijah McDaris, 24, of Homosassa, was arrested on a warrant for violation of felony probation (no bond).


On July 9, at 10:28 pm, David Lombard, 70, of Homosassa, was arrested on a warrant for violation of felony probation (no bond).


On July 9, at 12:12 pm, Adrian Gage Williams, 22, of Crystal River was arrested by the CCSO during a traffic stop, at N. Dunkenfield Ave. and W. Elmhurst St. in Crystal River, on a Citrus County warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of driving while license suspended or revoked ($2,000 bond).


On July 8, at 5:00 pm, Jason Dallas Shanes, 33, of Lecanto, an inmate at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was found to have, and was arrested, on two Citrus County warrants, each for petit theft of less that $100. His combined bond was set at $2,000.


On July 3, at 12:33 pm, Nuland Roy Cox, 60, of Wildwood, Florida, was arrested in Sumter County on a Citrus County warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation of an original charge of driving under the influence (impaired) with one prior conviction. On the same day, his bond of $605 was paid in Sumter County. 


On July 3, at 1:42 am, Joseph Shane Damron, 42, of Crystal River, an inmate at the Citrus County Detention Facility, was arrested on an active Hernando County warrant for felony petit theft (two or more convictions of any theft), with his bond set at $2,000.


On July 3, at 3:01 pm, Kelsey Lynn Luoto, 28, of Homosassa, was placed under arrest, charged with driving under the influence (impaired). Her bond was set at $1,000.


On July 3, at 12:41 pm, Ronald Charles Monteleone, 47, of Homosassa was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, as the result of a road rage incident that occurred about 11:38 am. A deputy spoke with the two parties involved in the road rage incident in the parking lot of the Pet Supermarket, located at 2649 E. Gulf to Lake Hwy. (SR 44) in Inverness. The deputy determined that a cutting-off type incident had occurred near the intersection of SR 44 and S. Lecanto Hwy.(CR 491) in Lecanto, and both drivers had shouted at one another while traveling east, then pulled into the parking lot and continued the argument. Monteleone is accused of driving his vehicle toward the other driver, striking the man's vehicle's on the open driver's door while his female passenger was inside the vehicle, then chasing the man with a knife he pulled from a holder at his waistband, until bystanders intervened. Monteleone was charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill ($14,000 bond).


On July 2, at 4:37 pm, Amanda Lucille Buskey, 36, of Lompoc, California, was arrested in Osceola County, Florida on a Citrus County, Florida warrant for petit theft of less than $100. On July 6, her bond of $500 was paid in Oceola County.


On July 2, at 8:21 pm, Richard Lee Diamond, 60, of Hernando, was arrested by the CCSO on a Citrus County writ of bodily attachment in the amount of $1,177 for failure to pay child support. The report stated, that on an unrelated call for service to an E. Tennessee Ln., Hernando residence, deputies learned about the outstanding writ for Mr. Diamond.


On July 2, at 3:44 pm, Beverly Y. Dorris, 57, of Beverly Hills, was issued a notice to appear in court citation by the CCSO, charged with retail petit theft of more than $100, but less than $750, with a mandatory court appearance scheduled for July 23 at the Citrus County Courthouse. The arrest report stated that Ms. Dorris placed numerous items into bags inside her shopping cart at the Lecanto Walmart store, then purchased a sandwich at the Subway sandwich shop, and was exiting the store when an employee asked to see her receipt. The report stated that Ms. Dorris told the employee that she forgot to pay for the items, which totaled $338.60, and offered to pay for them. The arrest report stated that the store employee told the deputy that the store will pursue charges against Ms. Dorris in a previous, similar case, and that she also told the deputy that her surname was LeBlanc, an alias she sometimes uses.


On July 2, at 9:23 am, Miranda Lynn Haley, 23, of Homosassa, was arrested by the CCSO, charged with aggravated battery, using a deadly weapon (no bond).


On July 2, at 2:18 pm, Jesse Joel Weeks, 28, of Homosassa
was arrested by the CCSO, charged with violation of an injunction for protection by coming within 500 feet of the petitioner's residence, school, or place of work (no bond).


On July 1, at 11:35 am, Daniel David Ackley, Jr., 29, of Dunnellon, was arrested in Hillsborough County, Florida, on a Citrus County warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. On July 3, his bond of $1,005 was paid in Hillsborough County.
