Christmas Parade
Yankeetown & Inglis, Florida: Sat Dec 19, 2020; Time to be determined.
The theme for the Christmas Parade this year is "Christmas Carols." Pick a Christmas carol, and that will be the theme for your float. Do it quickly so you can have the Christmas carol you want, as there will be no duplicates! Applications will be available at Inglis Town Hall, located at 135 Hwy. 40 West in Inglis; Yankeetown Town Hall,  located at 6241 Harmony Ln. in Yankeetown; and at the Woman's Club Thrift Shop, located at 56th St. in Yankeetown. Set-up for the parade will be at the power lines next to the Chamber of Commerce building, located at 167 Hwy. 40 West  (Follow That Dream Parkway) in Inglis. The parade will proceed WEST on Follow That Dream Parkway to the eastern (first) entrance onto Riverside Drive (across the street from the Community Church), down Riverside Drive to the Yankeetown Town Hall Pavilion on Harmony Ln. in Yankeetown, where Blackwater Grill and Bar will have a tent with food, drinks and a live band. There will be lots of fun for the whole family, in addition to the opportunity to have your photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
