(SEE PHOTO ON RIGHT) Samuel ("Sam" or "Bam Bam") Marvin Thomas, 48, of Bushnell, FL, was arrested on a Sumter County, FL warrant for kidnapping, murder (not premeditated) and burglary during which he became armed, with his bond set at none. Mr. Thomas is accused of breaking into the home of Victoria ("Vikki") Harris, his ex-girlfriend, who lives in Bevilles Corner, FL, near Bushnell, about 6:30 am, Oct. 17, killing her 14 year-old son, and then abductiong Ms. Harris in a 1999 Ford F250 pickup truck. Ms. Haris escaped, unharmed, in the Wildman/Coleman, FL area, about 11:59 am, according to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office (SCSO). Mr. Thomas was taken into custody after he crashed the truck into Lake Spivey, located off Lakeview Drive in Inverness, FL, later that afternoon. By 5:14 pm, Mr. Thomas had been evauluated at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness and was booked into the Citrus County Detention Facility.

Stephanie Lee Bodus, 25, of Homosassa, FL, was issued a notice to appear in court citation (along with her codefendent listed below) for retail petit theft of more than $100, but less than $750. Ms. Bodus' arrest report stated that Ms. Bodus and "co-defendent Elizabeth Gledhill" are accused of failing to scan some items and using a technique know as "ticket switching" on other items, for 100 items totaling $410.13 at the self checkout area of the Lecanto Walmart store, and then exiting the store. The two were allowed to leave the store with the items they purchased, a report stated.

John Allen Walmer, 36, of Crystal River, FL was arrested at his residence on 4 Citrus County warrants: 1 warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on an original charge of driving while license suspended or revoked (no bond), 2 warrants for failure to appear at a pretrial conference on an original charge of driving while license suspended or revoked (no bond), and 1 warrant for trespassing after warning at the Homosasssa, FL Walmart store ($500 bond).

Jamie Jean Smith, 28, of Inverness, FL, was arrested on a warrant for resisting an officer with violence, battery of a law enforcement officer, firefighter, medical services provider, or a public transit employee; and battery (no bond).

Heather Elizabeth Reed, 50, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with driving under the influence ($1,000 bond) during a traffic stop on N. Citrus Ave., just off US 19 in Crystal River, due to her vehicle's headlamps being turned off at 12:00 pm midnight. The report stated that Ms. Reed exhibited signs of being impaired, and smelled of alcohol, but declined to submit to sobriety testing.

Zane Adam Jones, 22, of Floral City, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while license suspended or revoked ($5,000 bond).

Susan Marie Fitzpatrick, 44, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with domestic battery (no bond).

Edward Martin Waters, 71, of Lady Lake, FL, was charged with driving under the influence, after the Citrus County Sheriff's Office received a report of a reckless driver traveling west on E. Gulf to Lake Hwy. (SR 44) near the Sumter County line, and conducted a traffic stop on the described vehicle on E. Gulf to Lake Hwy., slightly west of Colonade St., in Inverness. The report stated that Mr. Waters exhibited signs of impairment, performed poorly on roadside sobriety testing, and his breath alcohol test results were 0.207 and 0.203 (greater than the legal limit of 0.08).

Matthew Kyle Thweatt, 31, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, first offense ($500 bond).

Jeremy Wayne Thomas, 29, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with grand theft of $750 or more, but less than $5,000; trafficking or endeavoring to traffic in stolen property, and burglary of an unoccupied residence ($17,000 bond).

Jarrod Edward Scordato, 26, of Hernando, FL, was charged with aggraated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill ($2,000 bond).

Joshua Raymond Keller, 33, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while license suspended or revoked, second offense (no bond).

Bradley Allen Harrington, 38, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation on an original charge of driving under the influence ($605 bond).    

Damian Perez, 28, of Beverly Hills, FL, was charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer without violence ($1,500 bond). The report stated that a deputy was at the Loft Bar and Grill, located at 10131 N. Citrus Ave. in Crystal River, about 2:30 am, when he saw Mr. Perez attempting to conceal a 4-pack of beer he'd purchased inside the bar. The report stated, that when the deputy told Mr. Perez he couldn't take the beer outside the bar, he became contemptuous, yelling obscenities, and when the deputy attempted to take him into custody, Mr. Perez resisted arrest.

Jessie Lee Encinia, 35, of Crystal River, FL, was charged with assualt of a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence ($6,000 bond) when deputies were dispatched to a disturance at at W. Glen St., Lecanto residence. The report stated that Mr. Encinia smelled of alcohol and appeared to be intoxicated. He's accused of getting into a fighting stance while threatening Deputy Amato, and refusing to obey Deputy Amato's commands.

Sandra M. Schaible-Davis, 47, of Homosassa, FL, was charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($5,000 bond).

James Anthony Moore, 43, of Hernando, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of hunting, fishing, or trapping on a wildlife management area posted as closed ($2,000 bond).

Tymothy Desean Torres, 20, of Dunnellon, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County warrant for violation of his misdemeanor probation for driving under the influence (no bond).    

Donald Eugene Bowler, 56, of Lakeland, FL, was arrested on a Citrus County writ of bodily attachment in the amount of $520, for failure to pay child support, with his bond set at a cash purge of $520.

Walter Joseph Lynch, 47, of Citruss Springs, FL, was charged with retail petit theft of more than $100, but less than $750 ($500 bond). The report stated that a loss prevention officer with the Inverness, FL Walmart store observed Mr. Lynch and a relative place numerous items of merchandise into Walmart bags, and then leave the store without paying for the items, that were valued at $154.28.
