Prescription Take-Back Day, Sat., Oct. 24; Levy County drop-off locations & link to other locations

The Levy County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with the Levy County Prevention Coalition, and the Chiefland, Cedar Key and Williston police departments, will be participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Prescription Drug Take Back Day, will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  

If you have unwanted or out-of-date prescription or over-thecounter medications, you can drop them off at the following locations in Levy County for proper dispossal: :
Cedar Key Police Department - 490 2nd St., Cedar Key, FL
Chiefland Wal-Mart - 2201 N. Young Blvd., Chiefland, FL
Chiefland Police Department - 14 E. Park Ave., Chiefland, FL
Inglis Town Hall - 135 Highway 40 West, Inglis, FL
Levy County Sheriff's Office - 9150 NE 80th Ave, Bronson, FL 
Williston Police Department - 1 SW 5th Ave., Williston, FL

The Citrus County Sheriff's Office will be accepting drop-offs at the three Citrus County Walmart store locations:
Homosassa Walmart - 6885 S Suncoast Blvd. (US 19), Homosassa, FL 
Inverness Walmart - 2461 E. Gulf to Lake Hwy. (SR 44), Inverness, FL
Lecanto Walmart - 1936 N. Lecanto Hwy. (CR 491), Lecanto, FL
