Women’s March for Justice, Sat., Oct. 17, 11:00 am-2:00 pm, in Ocala

The "Women’s March for Justice" is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020,11:00 am-2:00 pm, on the Ocala Downtown Square, located at SE 1st Ave. in Ocala, FL. The event will focus on celebrating the life, legal accomplishments and principles of the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg and was coordinated by the Democratic Women's Club of Florida Region VI and held in conjunction with the national Women's March on Washington, D.C. that will be held on the same date. Social distancing and use of masks is being observed. Speakers will include Janet Vernell, a Marion County native and attorney, and Olivia Han, 17, an International Baccalaureate student at Vanguard High School in Ocala.
