Traditionally, the Key Training Center puts on a memorable Halloween Dance for their residents and community clients. The Crystal River Rotary hosts the dance, and prizes are given out during a costume contest. Due to COVID-19 and the CDC's gathering recommendations, the Key Center decided to favor caution and do something different. For the first time, the Key Center's Halloween Dance will be something that you, the community members, can experience from home. Airing on WYKE, Channel 16, on October 30th, 2020, from 5 pm-6 pm, their very own DJ Kenny will be LIVE on TV for everyone to enjoy his music.
Not only will you be able to dance at home with his music, but you will be able to see photos of their residents and community clients dressed up in their costumes. The Crystal River Rotary members, Mark and Carol Shapot, will be arriving during the hour to pick the winners for the costume contest. This year, they have three selections, which are; Most Creative Costume, Scariest Costume, and Best Group Costumes. They will be announcing the Key Center's winners, and the prizes will be gifted out to the winners. Please join them on October 30th, 2020, on Spectrum Channel 16, by enjoying Halloween Dance party music and their wonderful clients in costumes!
