Walter Aldridge, 56, of Umatilla, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 11, 2025, charged with a sex offender violation: failing to report vacating his permanent residence (no bond).

UPDATED: Jennifer Bramblett, 51, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, June 12, 2025, charged with battery - a repeat offense ($10,000 bond).
       According to the arrest report, a deputy arrived at an Inglis residence, about 10:54 a.m., due to a report of a physical disturbance, and heard yelling coming from inside the residence. The deputy went inside the residence, to find a man "physically holding down" Ms. Bramblett, the report stated. The man holding Bramblett had told dispatch that he would be restraining Bramblett until law enforcement arrived at the residence.
       The deputy reported that Bramblett had a "strong odor of alcohol" coming from her person, and she was "swaying unsteadily." Bramblett admitted to the deputy that she'd consumed alcohol, and also that she didn't remember what had happened, other than the man had grabbed her and held her down.
       The man who'd called 911 told the deputy that Bramblett had arrived at the residence at 9:00 a.m., and she'd given him $20 to buy her some alcohol, but as she consumed the alcohol and began to be intoxicated, she'd accused him of being a "confidential informant" (for law enforcement) and blamed him for "getting her people killed," according to the report. The man said, he'd made her another drink, to calm her down, but she'd slapped it out of his hand in the living room. The deputy reported that the man's shorts appeared wet, there was ice on the floor and a wet area on the couch.
       The man told the deputy that Bramblett had threatened to kill him and burn down the house before striking him with her fist, several times to his head and face, and that's when he'd restrained her, by wrapping her up and taking her down to the floor, and called 911. The deputy reported that a red mark was visible near the man's right temple, but the deputy could not determine if there were marks on the man's head due to the thickness of his hair.
       Bramblett told the deputy that she'd gone to the residence to buy alcohol and retrieve her shoes, and that the man had jumped on her, refusing to allow her to leave. She began crying and told the deputy, “I'll take the charges,” and when she was asked about the spilled drink, she denied knocking it out of the man's hand, stating, “I love alcohol, why would I do that?” She also told the deputy that she did not remember an altercation with the man in the living room.
       When she was placed under arrest, the report stated, Bramblett pulled away from deputies. The report also stated that on January 16, 2018, Bramblett was convicted of battery of a law enforcement officer in Citrus County, Florida.
