Citrus County's Trap, Neuter/Spay Release (TNR) Community Cat Program suspended until further notice

Citrus County Animal Services recently attempted to reinstate its Trap, Neuter/Spay, Release ("TNR") Community Cat program, but in order to limit contact due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the program has been suspended until further notice. This means that the shelter will not be accepting any stray cats, and Animal Control Officers and volunteers will not be picking up stray cats. The only exceptions are if a cat is injured, appears to be sick, or has bitten someone and needs to be quarantined. If you have questions please contact the shelter at 352-746-8400.
