COVID-19 in the U.S.: (was 6,004,443 cases and 183 050 deaths, with 288,876 cases reported within the previous 7 days) and now is 7,059,087 cases, 204,033 deaths and 311,102 cases ireported within the last 7 days. These numbers include 55 U.S. jurisdictions (the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands). 

COVID-19 WORLDWIDE: (was 25,904,605 cases 6,846,826 that are active, 861,271 deaths, and 18,196,508 who have recovered) and now is 33,224,403 cases, 8,675,222 that are active, 1,000,709 deaths, and 24,549,181 who have recovered.
    
COVID-19 in FLORIDA: (was 631,040 cases, 38,859 hospitalizations, and 11, 521 deaths) and now is 700,564 cases, 43,533 hospitalizations, and 14,032 deaths

COVID-19 in LEVY COUNTY: (was 921 cases, 66 hospitalizations, and 6 deaths) and now is 1,035 cases, 80 hospitalizations and 9 deaths.

COVID-19 in CITRUS COUNTY: (was 2,124 cases, 215 hospitalizations, and 59 deaths) and now is 2,745 cases, 286 hospitalizations and 103 deaths.

COVID-18 in MARION COUNTY: (was 8,582 cases, 773 hospitalizations, and 197 deaths) and now is 9,708 cases, 940 hospitalizations and 288 deaths.

According to the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) in regard to COVID-19, the elderly and those with underlying medical problems like high blood pressure, heart problems and diabetes are more likely to develop serious illness.

The FDOH recommends that you:
•Wash hands often with soap and water – 20 seconds or longer (or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol).
•Practice social distancing. If you are around other people, keep 6 feet between you when possible. Avoid hugs, handshakes, large gatherings and close quarters.
•Wear a face mask. Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others and out in public, such as the grocery store.
•Get tested if you are concerned about your status, get tested for COVID-19 at a testing site near you. *Phone numbers to contact are listed below.

People with COVID-19 have reported a wide range of symptoms reported, ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2 to 14 days after exposure to the virus.
 
Watch for symptoms of COVID-19: 
•Fever or chills
•Cough
•Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
•Fatigue
•Muscle or body aches
•Headache
•New loss of taste or smell
•Sore throat
•Congestion or runny nose
•Nausea or vomiting
•Diarrhea
