Citrus County Judicial Assistant Nancy Gugliotta honored by CCCJF

According to the Conference of County Court Judges of Florida (CCCJF), a Zoom virtual video webinar during late September was an evening of firsts. The program recognized the accomplishments of the past year and embraced the challenges and responsibility of the Conference for the coming year
President Judge Stephen R. Jewett passed the conference leadership responsibility to President-elect Tommy Thompson of Marion County
Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Canady swore-in the CCCJF new officers, Circuit Representatives, District Vi.
Outgoing President, Judge Jewett, was recognized for his Conference leadership and also awarded the “Harvey Ford Award,” given annually to the county court judge who has shown, during the past year, “dedication of service to the community, to the legal profession, and to the conference itself.” Judge Jewett stated that he appreciated the recognition and thanked those he has worked with during the year. He said Judge Tommy Thompson was well positioned and ready for the conference leadership.
President Tommy Thompson stated appreciation of Judge Jewett’s leadership and then recognized the newly elected conference officers for 2020-2021 with a positive message and acknowledged the challenges of moving forward.
The Non-Judicial Award was presented to Nancy Gugliotta (see photo), the Judicial Assistant to Citrus County Court Judge Mark Yerman. Judge Yerman thanked Nancy for her many years of service assisting him in the role of Treasurer and contributing countless hours to the Conference.
