Recently Female Veterans Network Founder/President Cynthia Henderson received a generous gift from family members honoring the memory of Karen Ann Clark, MSgt.USAF, retired.
Karen was from a proud military family. Her father was retired Air Force. Her sister served in the Air Force and two brothers served in the Army. While serving Karen met her husband, also an airman, and they had one son who is currently a MSgt. in the USAF.
Karen, who passed away June 28, 2020, was very proud of her dedicated service to her country. Karen’s mother, Barbara Stubstad, is very proud of her daughter’s service and is also very proud of all the dedicated females who served and is so glad female veterans are being recognized with the placement of the Female Veteran Monument on the grounds of the Old Citrus County Courthouse in Inverness.
