Heather Danielle Abrams, 38, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 28, 2024, charged with felony battery, simple assault of a law enforcement officer or other public service provider, and battery of a law enforcement officer or other public service provider ($75,000 bond). 


Zachary David Armlin, 30, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, Dec. 24, 2024, charged with reckless driving - first offense, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs -  third violation within 10 years, and resisting an officer with violence ($40,000 bond).
 

UPDATED:  Cameron Dean Barlow, 21, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 25, 2024, charged with battery, and criminal mischief with damage to property of $200 or less (no bond). The arrest report stated, that around 11:00 pm, deputies arrived at a Morriston residence to find blood on the victim's abdomen that was coming from an injury to the victim's left chest area. The victim told a deputy that he and Barlow had gotten into an altercation due to Barlow coming to the residence, intoxicated, and finding himself locked out of the home. He said that Barlow broke windows to the residence, and he (the victim) went outside the residence, where he and Barlow got into an altercation, during which Barlow bit his chest, the report stated. The victim then went inside the residence, and Barlow remained outside the residence, the reported stated, and Barlow damaged the driver's side rearview mirror of a 1999 GMC van, with the damage estimated at $100, A witness inside the home told the deputy that he observed Barlow biting the victim, and he yelled for the victim to come inside the house. The deputy reported that it was determined that Barlow was the primary aggressor in the altercation.


Joe Brown, III, 22, of Brooksville, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 28, 2024, on an out of county warrant (no bond).


Ivan Cadena, 33, of Newberry, FL, was arrested by the Williston (Florida) Police Department, Dec. 28, 2024, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs ($5,000 bond).


Jessica Carver, 44, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 28, 2024, charged with probation violation (no bond).


Alexander Clary, 66, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 28, 2024, charged with probation violation (no bond).


UPDATED:  Jordan Michael Cooper, 31, of Yankeetown, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 27, 2024, charged with trespassing on property, resisting or obstructing an officer without violence, and failing to control or report a dangerous fire ($40,000 bond). He was also charged with violating a condition of release (release on his own recognizance bond). According to the arrest report, a deputy on patrol in Inglis observed a large fire that was close to a large tree near the parking lot of the Circle K gas station, located at 4 Highway 19 South in Inglis, and Cooper standing next to the tree. Inglis Fire Rescue was contacted to extinguish the fire. The deputy questioned Cooped as to what was going on and how the fire had started, and Cooper began cursing the deputies and backing away from the area, as if to walk away, the report stated, so deputies attempted to place him into handcuffs, and he resisted them. The report stated that Cooper appeared to be intoxicated, due to his slurred speech and glassy eyes, and he also smelled of alcohol. Cooper had been trespassed from the Circle K property on August 11, 2024, and was out of jail on bond since November 14, 2024, due to trespassing on the property after a trespass warning; thus, he was charged with violating a condition of release. He's accused of starting the fire without the permission of the property owner, with disregard as to the safety of the property and building, with no devices on hand to control the fire.


Tymetric Jaron Hemphill, 42, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Williston Police Department, Dec. 26, 2024, charged with driving while license suspended as an habitual offender ($75,000 bond).


Joseph Irving Kalback, 40, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 26, 2024, charged with battery ($2,500 bond).


James Anthony Kennedy, 31, of Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Williston (Florida) Police Department, Dec. 25, 2024, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and driving with a suspended or revoked license ($3,000 bond).


Gabrial William Effat Koehler, 22, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 26, 2024, charged with driving while license suspended as an habitual offender ($5,000 bond).


Jared Markham, 22, of Archer, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 25, 2024, charged with criminal mischief with damage to property in the amount of more than $200 but less than $1,000, resisting or obstructing an officer without violence, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug equipment, and destroying, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence ($30,000 bond).


Brendon Merritt, 27, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 28, 2024, on an out of county warrant (no bond).


Michael Allen Miller, 33, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO), Jan. 1, 2025, charged with murder without premeditation (no bond), battery of a law enforcement officer ($200,000 bond), resisting an officer with violence ($200,000 bond), and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription ($20,000 bond). According to the LCSO, around 5:00 pm on New Year's Eve, the agency received a 911 call reporting that two brothers were involved in an argument, and one brother had shot the other brother. Deputies arrived at the Manatee Farms subdivision in Chiefland where the altercation had taken place to find Jeremy Miller dead from a gunshot wound to his head. Michael Miller was found hiding inside a shed on the property where the two brothers both lived. After a brief stand off, Michael Miller surrendered to law enforcement and was incarcerated at the Levy County Detention Bureau in Bronson, FL.

Lawrence Leland Paggeot, 62, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO), Dec. 31, 2024, charged with a sex offender violation, failing to reregister as a sex offender as required by law ($15,000 bond). According to the LCSO, Paggeot notified Kentucky authorities of his intent to move to Marion County, Florida, and he was informed by Kentucky officials that he must register his address with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) upon his arrival. Kentucky did not receive confirmation that Paggeot had registered as a sex offender in Florida and thus contacted the MCSO with the information that Paggeot had notified them that he was moving to Marion County. MCSO detectives went to the address Paggeot had provided to Kentucky officials and found the property abandoned. MCSO detectives learned that Paggeot was living at a residence within Levy County and contacted the LCSO Sex Offender Unit. On Dec. 31, 2024, LCSO detectives arrived at the locatioon - 11190 SE 201 Street in Inglis - and found Paggeot there. Paggeot initially gave detectives a false name, but his true identity was soon discovered. Paggeot was placed under arrest because he had not registered with the LCSO as a sex offender living in Levy County.


Weston S. Pforr, 19, of Cedar Key, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 27, 2024, charged with two counts of reckless driving - first offense, two counts of fleeing from a law enforcement officer at a high rate of speed, fleeing from a law enforcement officer with disregard as to the safety of persons or property, failing to register a motor vehicle being used on a roadway, two counts of criminal mischief with damage to property in the amount of $200 or less, and resisting or obstructing an officer without violence  ($207,500 bond). He was also charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill (no bond). 


Danielle Monique Picotte, 44, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Dec. 26, 2024, on an out of county warrant ($550 cash only bond).


Marty Lee Tanner, 38, of Levy County, Florida was arrested by the Alachua County Sheriff's Office (ACSO), Dec. 21, 2024, charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment ($53,500 bond). He's incarcerated at the Alachua County Jail in Gainesville, FL. According to the ACSO, on Nov. 22, 2024, the owner of the pickup truck allowed her son to drive the truck, which broke down in Archer, FL, and the son left the truck on the side of the road. When he returned to retrieve the truck on Nov. 24, 2024, he found that the truck was not there, and the owner reported the truck as stolen. At a later time, the son located the pickup truck at Wood Spring Suites in Gainesville and called his mother, who went to the hotel and also informed law enforcement that a man and a woman were inside the truck. The two were identified by ACSO deputies as Tanner (who was in the driver's seat) and a relative of Tanner. Tanner provided several false names before finally revealing his actual name, due to having an arrest warrant in Lee County, FL for passing forged bills, and grand theft of a motor vehicle. He eventually admitted he'd found the truck and towed it to a relative's home before going to the hotel due to the relative questioning him about the truck. A search of the truck turned up methamphetamine, a small cannabis cigarette (a "joint"), a glass smoking pipe, and three syringes
