Justin Allen Ausburn, 27, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the LCSO at 9:00 am, Sept. 15, charged with burglary (no bond), petit theft of $100 or more, bur less than $300 (no bond); and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver ($25,000 bond).

Alfonza William Brown, 39, of Williston, FL, was arrested at the Levy County Courthouse at 12:00 pm, Sept. 16, charged with failing to register as required of a sex offender. His bond was set at credit for time served.

Susanna Deatrick Carpenter, 49, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the LCSO at 11:34 am, Sept. 14, charged with contempt of court due to violation of an injunction for protection against domestic violence ($25,000 bond).

Jason Eugene Crowder, 39, of Citrus Springs, FL, was arrested by the LCSO at 11:15 am, Sept. 19, on an out of county warrant (no bond).

Artis J. Feaster, 58, of Old Town, FL, was arrested by the CPD at 12:38 am, Sept. 18, charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver; and possession of drug equipment ($15,000 bond).

David Florance, Jr., 25, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the CPD at 1:50 am, Sept. 20, charged with possession of methaqualone or a methaqualone derivitave, a Schedule I controlled substance ($5,000 bond).

Douglas Edward Forrest, 67, of Inglis, FL, was booked into the Levy County Jail at 6:30 pm, Sept. 18, in regard to an incident that occurred on Sept. 9. The victim and a witness told a deputy that Mr. Forrest, whom they know as "Spoon," had walked into a Shearer St., Inglis residence, went to a back room and retrieved a box that possibly contained a 0.22 rifle, then got into a brief argument with one of the two people inside the residence, during which he allegedly slapped one of them with an open palm, and then left in a black Ford Ranger truck. Mr. Forrest told the deputy that he'd gone to the residence to get his commemorative rifle, and got into a heated argument with a person he'd attempted to kick out of the residence when his girlfriend had gotten sick and had to leave the residence. Mr. Forrest said he'd shoved, but had not struck, the other person before he left the residence. Mr. Forrrest was charged with battery ($3,000 bond). 

Virginia Lynn Green, 34, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the CPD at 10:19 am, Sept. 14, charged with petit theft from a merchant, second offense. Her bond was set at release on her own recognizance. 

Stephen Groo, 35, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the FHP at 5:41 pm, Sept. 16, charged with failure to register a motor vehicle, and driving while license suspended, second offense ($3,500 bond).

Melissa Ann Hall, 35, of Ocala, FL, was arrested during a traffic stop at 9:30 pm, Sept. 18, after she passed the vehicle of a LCSO detective in a no passing zone on NE 212 Ct., south of CR 318, in east Williston, FL. According to a press release, the detective smelled burned and unburned marijuana coming from her vehicle, and she handed him a a rolled marijuana cigar when he asked her about the smell of marijuana. A search of the vehicle turned up 89 MDMA (ecstasy) pills inside Ms. Hall's purse. She was charged with possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, trafficking in 10 grams or more of MDMA, and possession of drug equipment ($30,000 bond).

Kristine Lynn Hess, 36, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the LCSO at 4:20 am, Sept. 19, charged with trespassing in a structure or conveyance, trespassing on property other than a structure or conveyance, second degree petit theft, first offense; and failure to appear in court ($26,000 bond). The arrest report stated that Ms. Hess had been trespassed from Jesus Is! Ministries, located at 42 Daisy St. in Inglis, Florida, on Dec. 3, 2019, and was seen on the property removing clothing, valued at $100, from the thrift store located on the property, and hiding it in the wood line of the property. The clothing was recovered. Upon her arrest, the report stated, Ms. Hess was in possession of a small hammer that allegedly had been removed from a desk on the property, located in the area where the clothing was stored. 

Robert Hite, 32, of Bell, FL, was arrested by the LCSO, Sept. 16, and booked into the Levy County Jail at 11:12 am on an out of county warrant (no bond).

Christopher Glenn Kelly, 35, of Moriston, FL, was arrested by the LCSO at 8:30 am, Sept. 17, charged with probation violation (no bond).

Christopher Long, 34, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the LCSO at 1:30 pm, Sept. 16, charged with failure to appear in court, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and  possession of drug equipment ($16,075 bond).

Jonathan Terrell Minniefild, 31, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the LCSO at 9:54 am, Sept. 15, on two out of county warrants (no bond).

Amy Morgan, 36, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the FHP, Sept. 20, and booked into the Levy County Jail at 6:16 am, charged with driving while impaired ($5,000 bond).

Haitrieu Ho Nguyen, 20, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the FHP at 11:07 am, Sept. 19, charged with possession of liquor by a person under the age of 21, first offense; possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, and possession of drug equipment. Her bond was set at release on her own recognizance on all three charges.

Mark Woodrow Stevens, 45, of Old Town, FL, was arrested by the CPD at 7:06 pm, Sept. 14, charged with aggravated battery causing  bodily harm or disability, and grand theft of a motor vehicle ($25,000 bond).

Harold Lee Strong, 60, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the CPD at 9:35 am, Sept. 16, charged with driving while license suspended as an habitual offender ($2,500 bond).

Brian Eldon Wright, 41, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the LCSO at 3:30 pm, Sept. 15, charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription ($30,000 bond), and probation violation (no bond).
