Three arrested in Archer as result of drug investigation

On November 4, 2024 members of the Levy County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 10730 NE 114th Street in Archer, Florida. The search warrant was granted as the result of a months-long investigation into sales of illegal narcotics at this residence.
During the search, detectives detained people who were inside the home when law enforcement officers arrived at the residence, along with several people who were outside the home inside various vehicles parked on the property.
The following items were seized by detectives and Crime Scene Unit members during the search of the property:
Drug methamphetamine, 256.59 grams
Drug fentanyl, 63.37 grams
Drug marijuana, 134.04 grams
Prescription pills (drugs); oxycodone, morphine, buprenorphine, tramadol, and lisinopril.
Drug paraphernalia items: plastic bags, scales, pipes, pill containers and Narcan (drug used to counteract a drug overdose)
Handgun (1 handgun)
Ammunition
As a result of the search warrant and subsequent investigation, three people were arrested:
Helen Leo, 57, of Archer, Florida, the home owner, was arrested on charges that included possession of more than 4 grams of fentanyl, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of more than 14 grams of methamphetamine, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($275,000 bond).
Joseph Shirey, 26, of Williston, Florida, who was located inside a vehicle parked outside of the home, was also arrested, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).
Gregory Hopkins, 56, of Williston, Florida, was located inside the home. He was placed under arrest, charged with resisting a law enforcement officer without violence ($2,500 bond).
