UPDATED: William Edward Coggins, 52, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office on October 17, 2024, charged with battery, a repeat battery offense ($15,000 bond). According to the arrest report, Coggins is accused of knocking the victim off her bicycle in the area of 131 North U.S. Highway 19 in Inglis on October 13, 2024. The report stated that the victim was riding her bicycle and Coggins was following her and intentionally ran his bicycle into the back of the victim's bicycle, which caused her to run into a metal gate and fall onto the ground and cut her lip. When the victim called law enforcement to report the battery, Coggins left the area, but he was located on October 17 and taken into custody. The report stated that Coggins was convicted of battery in Levy County (Florida) court on July 22, 2020.
Jennifer Cox, 47, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, October 19, 2024, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (release on her own recognizance bond).
Shannon Cross, 41, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, October 18, 2024, charged with battery ($500 bond).
Cody Lee Deal, 39, of High Springs, FL, was arrested by the Gilchrist County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, October 15, 2024, to be held at the Levy County Detention Bureau for another agency (no bond).
Debriana Dinsmore, 45, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, October 19, 2024, charged with battery of a person 65 years of age or older ($1,500 bond).

Lester Piersall, 63, of Bronson, FL, was not arrested, but was charged by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, October 14, 2024, with sex offender registration violation ($25,000 bond), and arrested on a charge of failing to report a name or residence change to law enforcement ($50,000 bond).
Matthew Remai, 38, of Bell, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, October 16, 2024, on an out of county warrant (no bond).
James Arthur Scheider, 48, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, October 16, 2024, charged with probation violation (no bond).

Teddy Ray Stinton, 59, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, October 17, 2024, charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license ($5,000 bond).
Kent William Zimmerman, 52, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO), October 15, 2024, charged with trafficking in 1 gram or more of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), possession of hallucinogens, possession of a controlled drug without a prescription, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and maintaining a shop where dangerous drugs are sold ($615,000 bond).
According to the LCSO, an investigation was conducted on the Juice Box.com Vape Shop, Inc., located at 6891 NW 138 Place, north of Chiefland, due to numerous complaints that illegal drug sales, including sales to minors, were being conducted at the business, owned by Zimmerman.
For months, detectives with the Levy County Drug Task Force worked to investigate the claims, to gather sufficient evidence to obtain a search warrant, which was executed at the business, October 15.
During their search, detectives located and seized hallucinogenic mushrooms, LSD, 6.5 pounds of marijuana, 8.78 pounds of THC wax (DABS), 15.73 pounds of THC vape oil, 2.05 pounds of THC gummies, along with diazepam, buprenorphine and oxycodone pills. The business is not a licensed THC dispensary, and Zimmerman did not have prescriptions for the pills that were seized.
