Citrus County Florida's 29th-annual Save Our Waters Week (SOWW), sponsored by Keep Citrus County Beautiful, Inc., will be held during September 21-28, 2024, with the theme, “TREE UP to Save our Waters.” The week, which promotes public appreciation and awareness of saving our irreplaceable waters, features activities, most of which are offered free to the public or for a suggested donation.

Sunrise to 11:30 am
35th-annual Lakes, Rivers and Coastal Cleanup

Join the Department of Water Resources for a tour of its recently upgraded and expanded facility. Learn how the facility uses advanced water treatment and reduces groundwater withdrawals.
