Levy County, Florida - Aaron W. Nagle, 39, of Levy County, was arrested by the Alachua County Sheriff's Office at 12:39 am, Sept. 11, after he was found in the back room of a retail establishment naked, according to a press release by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO). He's being held at the Alachua County Jail in Gainesville, FL, with his bond set at $2,000.

Meanwhile, the LCSO has filed a sworn complaint with the State Attorney’s Office, in order to obtain an arrest warrant for Mr. Nagle on charges of indecent exposure, and aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, in regard to a similar incident that occurred in Chiefland, FL on Sept. 9, 2020.

LCSO deputies had already developed Mr. Nagle as the suspect in the Sept. 9, Levy County incident, during which a man - believed to be Mr. Nagle - driving a white Toyota pickup truck, had followed a woman who was driving a vehicle, with her two children as passengers.

The victim told deputies that she felt very uncomfortable, and attempted to get away from the suspect's vehicle, which eventually forced her vehicle off the road on NW 60th St. in Chiefland. She said that the man exited his vehicle, naked, and simulated sexual gestures toward her within the view of her minor children.

The victim said she then drove away, and the suspect continued to follow her, so she contacted her husband by phone, and he began traveling to her location to assist her. An unspecified distance from where the suspect had exposed himself, the woman's husband came upon the vehicles of his wife and the man following her, and all three vehicles stopped, on or near the roadway.

Nagle again exited his pickup, naked, in view of the victim and her children, and he was confronted by the victim's husband, before he got back inside his truck and fled the area.

The LCSO encourages everyone to report all suspicious persons, vehicles or activity at 352-486-5111 or 9-1-1.  Reports can also be made anonymously through CrimeStoppers at 1-877-349-8477.
