Inverness, FL -  Just before noon on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, the west end of Zephyr Street and its connection to U.S. Highway 41 in Inverness reopened to traffic, with all movements now available through the intersection.

The closure had been in place since July 29, 2024 for drainage pipe installation and U.S. Highway 41 roadway construction.
