        ~ Closure due to FDOT project, widening of US 41, from SR 44 to Withlacoochee Trail bridge ~

                                         
                                   Florida Department of Transportation(FDOT) District 7 

Inverness, Florida - The west end of Zephyr Street and the connection to US 41 will be closed for approximately two weeks, beginning Monday, July 29, 2024 and reopening by Friday, August 9, 2024, weather permitting. Crews will be working on drainage pipe installation and US 41 roadway construction.

DETOUR: The detour route will use Zephyr Street, Ella Avenue, Dampier Street, and US 41. Drivers are advised to add a few extra minutes into their travel schedule to get around the closed area.
