Timothy Wade Arnold, Inglis, arrested on domestic violence charges

On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, Levy County Sheriff's Office deputies Mary Weaver and Rowdy Roberts responded to an Inglis, Florida residence due to a report of domestic violence.
The deputies arrived at the location to find a female victim with significant injuries to her face, head and body.
During an interview, the victim told deputies that she got into an argument with her 44 year-old boyfriend, Timothy Wade Arnold. She said that Arnold had accused her of infidelity, and during the argument had hit and kicked her. She said she waited until Arnold passed out before making her escape to a nearby friend’s home and calling 911.
Deputies found Arnold passed out inside his residence, a travel trailer located at 50 Palm Drive in Inglis. Deputies awakened him and took him into custody. He was transported to the Levy County Detention Bureau and charged with battery, a second or subsequent offense.
The following day, June 6, 2024, Levy County Sheriff's Office detectives were alerted that the victim had been admitted to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during an altercation with Arnold. Medical staff members confirmed to detectives that the victim had suffered serious internal injuries, lacerations and broken bones caused by a violent attack.
Detectives conducted a second interview with the victim. According to a LCSO ress release, "Detectives learned Arnold punched, kicked and struck the victim with blunt objects, as well as a machete, causing the injuries."
A search warrant was obtained for the travel trailer where Arnold resides. During the search, detectives seized items the victim said Arnold had used during his attack on her. As a result, two additional charges of aggravated battery were filed against Arnold.
Arnold is being held at the Levy County Detention Bureau in Bronson, Florida, with his bond set at $200,000.
