UPDATED: Joshua Robinson Carter, 22, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO), May 25, 2024, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, a repeat offense of battery, false imprisonment of an adult, first degree petit theft of $100 or more but less than $300, and use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony (no bond).
The arrest report stated that a LCSO deputy spoke with the victim (Carter's former girlfriend) at the Williston (Florida) Police Department. The victim told the deputy that Carter learned that she was at a friend's house and pursued her there, that he forced her to follow him to his Morriston residence, and she followed him, driving slowly, hoping she would be pulled over by law enforcement. During the ride, she received threatening text messages from Carter.
According to the victim, at Carter's residence, she and Carter got into an argument, then they both fell asleep. When they awakened, she attempted to leave the residence, but Carter grabbed her arms, pushed her onto the couch, and took her glasses so she could't leave, due to her poor vision. The victim hid her cell phone in her pocket, so Carter could not take it, and she recorded some of Carter's interaction with her.
In the recording, Carter was heard telling the victim he would kill her. An audible click on the recording verified that Carter had placed a bullet in the chamber of his gun, as the victim claimed, and the victim could be heard telling Carter to put the gun away.
The victim later escaped from the residence by persuading Carter to let her leave.

Andrew Mora, 47, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office (LCSO), May 26, 2024, charged with battery ($5,000 bond).
According to the arrest report, the victim told deputies that she and Mora had spent the day drinking alcohol on a friend's boat, and when they returned home, Mora became angry while feeding the dog and threw dog food on the kitchen countertop. She said she told Mora to take a shower and lie down because he was making a mess. The victim told deputies that she went into the kitchen to clean up the dog food, and Mora grabbed her arms and threw her onto the floor, and while she was falling, he pulled her earrings from her ears.
The report stated that the victim's ears were both red, and she had a small amount of blood on the right side of her neck. The victim told deputies that she heard Mora throwing items around in the bedroom, and he'd left the house, but she didn't know where he'd gone.
The arrest report stated, that in the kitchen, there was dog food on the counter, earrings on the floor, and a floor mat was partially flipped over, and in the bedroom, a television was "smashed" and a PlayStation 5 video console on the dresser was broken.
Deputies found Mora in the garage, hiding under a counter, covered by a garbage bag. He refused to discuss what had happened with the deputies.

Brandon Mikeal Parsons, 42, of Trenton, FL, was booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau, May 21, 2024, to be held for another agency (no bond).
Kyle Paulk, 36, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, May 22, 2024, on two out of county warrants, with his bonds set at $1,000 and $50,000. He was also charged with trafficking in 4 or more grams of dangeous fentanyl or a fentanyl analogue ($250,000 bond).
Graham Ellis Petticord, 53, of Old Town, FL, was arrested by the Cedar Key (Florida) Police Department, May 26, 2024, charged with failing to register a motor vehicle, attaching registration to a license plate not assigned to it, driving while license suspended, a repeat offense; and possession of a weapon or firearm in violation of a domestic violence injunction ($29,500 bond).
Amy Price, 53, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, at 1:17 am, May 24, 2024, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill ($10,000 bond).
According to the arrest report, three people riding all-terrain vehicles (ATV's) in the area of SE 218th Ave. and SE 59th Ln. in Morriston told deputies that an unfamiliar white vehicle - later determined to be a white 2020 Chevrolet Equinox sport utility vehicle (SUV), driven by Price - began pursuing the riders, forcing them off the road. A man driving an off-road motorcycle lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a tree stump.
Price admitted to deputies that she'd pursued the victims to a home where she gotten into an argument with them. She said she was wrong, and she'd learned her lesson.

Kyle Joshua Turner, 34, of Spring Hill, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, May 21, 2024, charged with driving while license suspended, second offense; violation of a condition of pretrial release for domestic violence, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug equipment ($140,000 bond). He was also charged with domestic battery by strangulation, burglary with assault or battery, and grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000, with his bonds set at none.
