Homosassa man, walking across Little Rd. in Pasco County, struck/killed by vehicle

A 49 year-old man from Homosassa, Florida was struck by a vehicle while walking acoss Little Road in New Port Richey (Pasco County), Florida at 9:15 pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, and died at the scene of the crash. 

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 38 year-old man from New Port Richey was driving a Chevrolet Silverado truck, traveling north on Little Road, when south of Villa Entrada, the Homosassa man attempted to walk across the highway and entered the path of the vehicle, which resulted in the vehicle striking him.
