Sept. 1, 3:55 pm: Mary Frances Cadett, 30, of Beverly Hills, FL, turned herself in and was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on a Citrus County warrant for violation of felony probation on an original charge of 2 counts of dealing in stolen property and 2 counts of falsely claiming ownership to a pawn broker (no bond).


Sept. 1, 10:54 pm: Maya Leann Eubanks, 40, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with domestic battery (no bond).


Sept. 1, 4:23 pm: Brandi Jugov, 28, of Dunnellon, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office during the traffic stop of a 2019 black Toyoto Corolla The traffic stop was conducted at Independence Hwy. and Forest Dr. in Inverness when a deputy noticed that the front right passenger was not wearing a seatbelt.  During a search of the vehicle, deputies found a smoking pipe (made from a hollowed-out gray writing pen) on the back seat where Ms. Jugov had been sitting. Inside Ms. Jugov's purse, deputies found a weight scale that contained fentanyl residue. Inside her wallet, deputies found a piece of tin foil, and on her person (within a pants pocket), deputies found 5 pieces of tin foil, one of which contained 0.76 gram of fentanyl. Ms. Jugov was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia ($3,000 bond).


Sept. 1, 9:42 am: Ashleigh Layne Paul, 29, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office at Inverness Regional Center, located at 1630 North U.S, Hwy. 41 in Inverness, on a Washington County, FL warrant for violation of probation, on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance (no bond).


Sept. 1, 6:54 pm: Joseph Wayne Petrik, 46, of Sioux City, Iowa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with misdemeanor battery ($1,000 bond).


Sept. 1, 2:04 am: Terrence James Slack, 47, of Homosassa, FL was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office during a traffic stop at the intersection of S. Oldfield Ave. and W. Harlow Ct. in Homosassa, on a Citrus County warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of driving while license suspended or revoked, second offense (no bond).
