Managing Money

If you or someone you know is facing Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or another chronic illness, it’s never too early to put financial plans in place. Join us to learn tips for managing someone else’s finances, how to prepare for future care costs, and the benefits of early planning. REGISTER HERE: alz-org.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_5HjZ08O-TYSHe-1kohTDSw#/registration.

Thursday, May 2, 1:00 p.m. EDT
Women's Dementia Risk

Women have a higher dementia risk than men, prompting research into gender differences for better treatment options and a deeper understanding of dementia. Join the Alzheimer's Association and Alzheimer's Association funded researcher, Judith Rijnhart, MSc, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the University of South Florida’s College of Public Health, to explore why women are more at risk for dementia, learn what factors might explain differences in the risk of dementia between women and men, and gain new insights into Alzheimer's disease and learn about available community resources. REGISTER HERE: alz-org.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_4DNaasOnRUurrrSLOriUDQ#/registration.

Find a Support Group

Support groups create a safe, confidential environment and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also inform participants about dementia and help them develop skills to solve problems. Find a support group here: drive.google.com/file/d/1Gyv-zC-3L3uIi6p0YBQBKxE2MMYvJH4W/view.
