Southbound I-75 closed for asphalt repair in Marion County - south of SR 200 near 349 MM

Marion County, Florida – The middle and outside southbound lanes on Interstate 75 - near mile marker 349, just south of State Road 200 in Marion County - are temporarily closed for an emergency asphalt repair.
This asphalt problem occurred within the limits of an ongoing FDOT resurfacing project along Interstate 75 of 13.993 miles from the Sumter County, Florida line to State Road 200 in Marion County. The $28.4 million project began in early 2023, and is expected by be completed during fall of 2024.

Traffic Advisory: I-75 Southbound On-Ramp at S.R. 200 to be Temporarily Closed Starting at 8 p.m. April 24
MARION COUNTY, Florida – The Interstate 75 (I-75) southbound on-ramp at State Road (S.R.) 200 will be closed overnight starting at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, and is expected to reopen by 7:30 a.m. Thursday, April 25, as work continues on an emergency asphalt repair.
Detour Information:
- Motorists traveling southwest on S.R. 200 will turn left on SW 60th Avenue, left on SW 95th Street, right on SW 49th Avenue Road, and left on County Road (C.R.) 484 to I-75.
- Motorists traveling northeast on S.R. 200 will turn right on SW 43rd Street Road/42nd Street/32nd Street, right on C.R. 475, and right on C.R. 484 to I-75.
The middle and outside lanes of I-75 southbound near S.R. 200 are temporarily closed until the repairs can be completed. The two lanes will remain closed near mile marker 349 throughout the repair, which is scheduled to be completed by 7:30 a.m. April 25. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
