Start your spring cleaning by participating in the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, which is being held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at certain designated locations.

By paricipatin in Prescription Take Back Day, you can help prevent drug misuse before it starts - by getting rid of these unused medications before they can be misused by someone getting hold of them in your home.

In fall 2023, the DEA collected and disposed of close to 600,00 pounds - 300 tons - of unneeded medications. The DEA hopes you will help it exceed its fall results on April 27.
