August 31, 1:28 am: Steven Richard Ball, Jr., 53, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, at the intersection of S. Lake Ter. and W. Grover Cleveland Blvd. in Homosassa, on a Citrus County warrant for violation of misdemeanor probation on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia (no bond). Mr. Ball was found to be in possession of several shards that tested positive for methamphetamine, so he was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance ($2,000 bond).


August 31, 4:52 pm: Russell James Elmer, 38, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with violation of an injunction by going to or being within 500 feet of the petitioner's residence, school, or place of employment, etc. (no bond).


August 31, 2:55 am: Allen Keith Ingram, Jr., 39, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with domestic battery (no bond).


August 31, 2:55 pm: Teresa Lynn Montag, 28, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, after a deputy on patrol, aware that her driver's license was suspended, saw her driving a vehicle in Hernando, FL and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle while she was driving south on N. Dawson Dr. Ms. Montag was charged with driving while license suspended or revoked as an habitual traffic offender ($2,000 bond).


August 31, 1:36 pm: Ronald Wayne Smith, 46, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with battery of a law enforcement officer, firefighter, emergency medical services provider, or public transit employee ($5,000 bond).
