Two injured in Crystal River shooting, April 14, in stable condition; no charges filed

According to Shelley Clark, a spokesperson with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, on Sunday, April 14, 2024, deputies responded to a 911 call in Crystal River. 

Clark said that a 35 year-old female suspect and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation, during which both received gunshot wounds and were hospitalized in stable condition. The two people involved in the incident were not identified. 

As of April 18, no charges had been filed, however the investigation is ongoing.
