Inverness road closures: Davidson Ave. and Dampier St., east of US 41, April 12-19

Inverness, Florida - Two roads in Inverness will be closed, as of Friday morning, April 12, 2024, through approximately Friday, April 19, 2024:
    Davidson Avenue - from US 41 to Dampier Street
        and 
    Dampier Street - from Davidson Avenue to west of Ella Avenue. 

DETOUR: Depending on your destination, drivers will use Emery Street, Ella Avenue, US 41, SR 44, and N. Trout Avenue to get around the closures. See the detour map, above. Drivers are advised to add a few additional minutes to their schedules to detour around the closed area. 

These road closures are the result of the FDOT road widening project of SR 44 to the Withlacoochee Trail bridge.
