Inverness road closures, April 9-12: Davidson Ave. and Dampier St., east of US 41

Inverness, Florida - Beginning Tuesday, April 9, 2024, Davidson Avenue will be closed, from US 41 to Dampier Street, and Dampier Street will be closed from Davidson Avenue to west of Ella Avenue. These around-the-clock closures are expected to be in place until Friday, April 19, 2024 for reconstruction of these roads.

DETOUR (see map): Depending on their destination, drivers will use Emery Street, Ella Avenue, US 41, SR 44, and N. Trout Avenue to get around the closures. Drivers are advised to add a few additional minutes to their schedules to detour around the closed area.

These road closures are the result of the widening of US 41, from SR 44 to the Withlacoochee Trail bridge.
