August 26, 2:33 am: Jason Ronald Armillei, 47, of Land O Lakes, FL, was arrested at S. Jade Ter. and W. Miss Maggie Dr. in the Chassahowitzka area of Homosassa, FL, by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, on a Pinellas County, FL warrant for felony domestic battery by strangulation ($10,000 bond).
August 26, 4:45 pm: Timothy Wilson Dunn, 23, of Inverness, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with domestic battery, and violation of condition of pretrial release when the original arrest was for domestic violence (no bond).
August 26, 8:31 pm: Christine Anne Nelson, 42, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office during a traffic stop conducted in the 1000 block of NE 5th St. (Highway 44) in Crystal River, as the result of two complaints of a woman driving a white Ford F-250 pickup truck in an erratic manner. The deputy also observed erratic driving, and described Ms. Nelson's behavior as "very unusual," noting that she couldn't stand still, as if she might be under the influence of methamphetamine. He also noted that Ms. Nelson admitted she'd used drugs, but blamed her erratic driving on the truck's "bad alignment," and she also performed poorly on roadside sobriety testing. Ms. Nelson's breath alcohol test result measured 0.00, and she submitted a urine speciman for further testing. She was charged with driving under the influence ($500 bond).
August 26, 5:11 pm: Lori Magan Richards, 31, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office following a single-vehicle traffic crash in which she lost control of her vehicle and traveled into the median of US 19, north of Crystal Ford, located at 2440 Northwest US 19 in Crystal River, FL, damaging the right front tire of her vehicle, a maroon Ford sports utility vehicle. The report stated that Ms. Richards exhibited signs of impairment, performed poorly on roadside sobriety testing and admitted she'd consumed one alcoholic beverage, a twisted tea, and when she was being taken into custody, resisted arrest. The report stated that she screamed at her borfriend to help her, and he stated, "Baby, you did this to yourself," and her blood sugar level tested within limits by emergency medical services when she told deputies she's diabetic. At the detention facility, Ms. Richards refused to sumbit to breath alcohol testing. She was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and resisting an officer without violence ($2,000 bond). She was also issued a traffic citation for DUI.
August 26, 12:34 pm: Damien Michael Shade, 19, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked, first offense, and theft of a motor vehicle ($2,500 bond).
