UPDATE, 1:00 pm:  ALL LANES NOW OPEN
TRAFFIC ALERT WITH ROAD CLOSURE
Around 8:00 am, August 30, deputies are on the scene of a traffic accident that occurred on US Hwy 19 in front of Crystal River City Hall, located at 123 N. U. S. Hwy 19. in downtown Crystal River, Florida.  Due to the crash, a utility pole and lines were damaged, leaving many nearby homes and businesses without power.  At this time, both lanes of US Hwy 19 are shut down. Motorists are being rerouted onto Citrus Ave and down NW 6th Ave.
