Citrus County, Florida - On August 26, detectives with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office (CCSO's) High Tech Crimes Unit arrested 34 year-old Daniel Enrique Grisales, Jr., of Dunnellon, as the result of an investigation that was conducted when a popular internet company reported to the Central Florida Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, that pornography had very recently been sent to numerous people via the company's mobile app.
Detective Chris Cornell, with the CCSO's High-tech Crimes Unit, linked the online mobile accounts to Daniel Grisales, and executed a search warrant at his residence. Detectives were able to match objects from inside the home to those seen in the illicit pornographic video that had been circulated. Grisales confessed when he was was interviewed by detectives.
Mr. Grisales was charged with sexual battery (familial or custodial) on a victim under the age of 12, a capital felony, and is being held on a no-bond status. The press release stated that additional charges are anticipated, based upon evidence located during the search warrant.
