2 Crystal River, August 8, burglary suspects arrested; Public urged to help ID 3rd suspect

Citrus County, Florida - On August 8, 2020, numerous burglaries were committed in the Woodland Estates neighborhood of Crystal River.
On August 24, detective with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office arrested two of the three suspects: Alex Muniz Rodriquez, 18 (left photo), and Caleb Kaiser, 19 (right photo).
"This case is not fully closed, but I am extremely proud of our deputies, detectives, and intelligence analysts for the work they have done so far," said Citrus County Sheriff Mike Prendergast. "Despite the diligent efforts of our case detectives, the third suspect has not yet been identified. During the early morning hours of August 8, residents of Woodland Estates woke up to enjoy their Saturday only to find out they were victims of crime. Our West Side Community Crimes detectives were notified and immediately started investigating, initially discovering an all too often heard modus operandi, unlocked doors.
According to a press release, unlocked doors aided the three suspects in the crime spree. Items stolen included vsteal vehicles, golf carts, side-by-sides, guns, phones, money, and other miscellaneous items.
The investigation was aided by witnesses and home surveillance cameras and utilized detectives, patrol deputies, K9 teams, evidence technicians, an aviation unit, and intelligence analysts.
Kaiser's and Rodrique's charges included grand theft of a firearm, grand theft of a motor vehicle, residential burglary, armed burglary, conveyance (vehicle) burglary, and petit theft.
Detectives are continuing to investigate other crimes committed by the three suspects, and future charges are pending.
