August 21, 11:20 am: Corin Kathleen Cripps (see photo), 42, of Inverness, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on a Citrus County warrant for burglary of a conveyance (vehicle) with battery, and strongarm robbery ($30,000 bond). She was transported from the Florida Women's Reception Center in Ocala, FL to the Citrus County Detention Facility in Lecanto, FL on the warrant.


August 21, 8:30 am: Courtney Lynn Sherman (see photo), 31, of Lecanto, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on a warrant for unarmed robbery ($15,000 bond).


August 21, 5:30 pm: Tory Garrett Bosley, 25, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office at S. Covecamp Pt. in Inverness, on 4 Citrus County warrants, each for violation of misdemeanor probation on an original charge of passing worthless checks. His bond was set at bond on each of the 4 warrants.


August 21, 2:51 pm: Tyrone Germaine Brown, 59, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with intentional, unlawful threat, by word or act, to do violence to another (no bond).


August 21, 3:42 pm: Amanda Lucille Buskey, 36, of Inverness, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with retail petit theft of $100 or less, and falsely identifying herself to a law enforcement officer ($1,500 bond). The arrest report stated that a store manager of the Shell gas station, located at 7985 N. Citrus Ave. in Crystal River, contacted the agency with information that Ms. Buskey, who had (allegedly) shoplifted from the store on August. 18, 2020, was now outside the store. She's accused of placing a pint of Nestle ice cream and a taquito from the rotisserie grill (with a combined value of $7.48) inside her purse, then leaving the store without paying for the items. The report stated that Ms. Buskey gave her name to the deputy as "Lynette Isabelle Saucedaragsdale," but her fingerprints, via Rapid Identification, identified her as Ms. Buskey. The repost stated that the manager showed the deputy the video surveillance of the incident.


August 21, 12:58 am: Joshua Lee Collins, 34, of Beverly Hills, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, when a deputy who was aware he had no valid driver's license, observed him driving a vehicle on N. Lecanto Hwy. (CR 491) in Beverly Hills, and conducted a traffic stop. During the traffic stop, Mr. Collins was found to be in possession of 17 pregabalin 50 mg. capsules (a Schedule 5 controlled substance). He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and driving while license knowingly suspended or revoked with 3 previous convictions ($4,000 bond).


August 21, 9:31 pm: James Douglas Conn, Jr., 54, of Crystal River, FL, was issued a notice to appear in court citation by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, charged with retail petit theft of $100 or less. At the Lecanto Walmart store, Mr. Conn is accused of removing a $4.96 price tag from a Wonder Nation backpack and using it in an attempt to purchase a $24.97 Quest backpack at the self checkout area. Mr. Conn was released on his own recognizance. 


August 21, 1:12 am: Amanda Nicole Provost, 25, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested at S. Ridge Pt. and W. Little Harris Ct. in Homosassa, by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, on a Hernando County, FL warrant for operating a vehicle without a valid drivers license ($2,000 bond).


Augaust 21, 9:56 am: Robert Jacob Tyree, 18, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on a warrant for violation of felony probation or community control (no bond).
