Clay Thomascorde Williams, 35, of Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office at 7:00 pm, August 16, charged with having an expired motor vehicle registration for more than six months, subsequent offense (bond set at release on his own recognizance); and driving while license  suspended, second offense (bond set at $1,000). 


Jeffery Alan Cowart, 48, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office at 12:00 pm, August 17, charged with driving while license suspended, second offense. His bond was set at credit for time served. 


David Alan Chewey, 58, of St. Augustine, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office at 12:00 pm, August 17, charged with driving while license suspended, first offense. His bond was set at credit for time served.


Toby Allen Albritton, 30, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department at 12:37 am, August 18, charged with probation violation (no bond).


Kristine Lynn Hess (see photo), 36, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office at 3:08 am, August 18, charged with trespassing ($1,000 bond). The arrest report stated that a deputy was dispatched to a Daisy St., Inglis location due to a complaint of a possible burglary in progress. A deputy arrived to find Ms. Hess standing under a tent on the property. The deputy reported, while he was speaking with Ms. Hess, she was plaacing items onto shelving located under the tent and stated to him that she was dropping off food. The deputy learned that Mr. Hess had been issued a trespass warning from that property on Dec. 30, 2019. The property owner was notified of the incident.


Anterio Jaquez Sheppard, 20, of Gainesville, FL, was arrested by the Williston Police Department at 4:09 pm, August 19, charged with probation violation. He was also arrested on an out of county warrant. His bond was set at release on his own recognizance. 

Christopher Michael Williams, 43, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Cedar Key Police Department and booked into the Levy County Jail at 11:32 pm, August 19, charged with driving under the influence (DUI), refusing to submit to DUI testing after a driver's license suspension, and driving with a suspended license ($40,000 bond).


Steve Jennings, 40, of Kinston, NC, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office at 12:00 pm, August 20, charged with non-support (or withholding support) of child or spouse ($2,070 bond).


Ricky Daniel Depue (see photo), 57, of Yankeetown, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office at 9:25 pm, August 21, during a call for service at a Yankeetown residence. The victim told a deputy, that during an argument with Depue because he accused her of cheating, Depue had head-butted her, then tossed her onto a sofa and choked her while threatening to kill her. The deputy reported that the woman had a lump on her forehead, red marks to her throat, and blood coming from her mouth. The deputy reported there were multiple bruises to the victim's body she was unable to explain, but when asked about a clump of human hair on the coffee table, she explained that Depue had ripped out the hair during the altercation. Mr. Depue explained to the deputy that the victim had "butt-dialed" (accidentally dialed) him while he was in the Carolinas during a sexual encounter with another man, and he'd returned home (three days previously) to confront her. He said they'd been drinking that day, and he lost it, according to the arrest report; he also told the deputy that he'd been arrested five times previously for battering the victim. Depue was charged with battery, and domestic battery by strangulation ($25,000 bond).


Reginald Ventrall Adams, 58, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office at 9:10 pm, August 22, charged with trespassing. His bond was set at release on his own recognizance.


Amanda L. Jeffreys, 42, of Ocala, FL, was arrested by the Marion County Sheriff's Office at 3:47 pm, August 22, charged with fleeing from a law enforcement officer at a high rate of speed, and driving while license suspended, second offense ($22,500 bond).
