Happy first day of school to students and teachers: Thursday, August 20, 2020!
Citrus County Sheriff's OFfice (CCSO)
It is that time of year again, where we at the CCSO take a few days to introduce the men and women who work, all school year long, to keep the children of Citrus County safe!
This year, in classic back-to-school fashion, we will be asking each SRO to tell us how they spent their summer. From beach trips and family time, to road patrols and law enforcement training, our SRDs have had an exciting summer! We are beginning the week with the fearless leaders of our Judicial and Juvenile Services Division: Captain Clendenney and Lieutenant Farmer.
Captain Clendenney: "This summer, I got the opportunity to escape to Jamaica for some fun in the sun!"
Lieutenant Farmer: "I spent my summer surfing and fishing with my family, as well as enjoying Lightning games on TV."
Check back soon to hear from our sergeants who oversee the School Resource Deputies!
