Citrus County's Landfill offers an additional drop-off day each quarter for Household Hazardous Waste, which will be held on Sat., July 25, 9;00 am-1:00 pm, in addition to its usual Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (same hours), at its location at 230 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy. (SR 44) in Lecanto. Citrus Couny residents can bring in, at no charge, up to 10 gallons, or 60 pounds, of household hazardous waste for proper disposal at the landfill.
