Joseph Ray Ainsworth, 29, of Bronson, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Sept. 14, charged with two counts of probation violation (no bond).
Kenneth Allen Alderman, 54, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Sept. 12, charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription (no bond) and possession of drug equipment (release on his own recognizance bond). A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle Alderman was driving in the area of Hwy. 40 East, near Pine St., in Inglis. According to the arrest report, during the traffic stop, the deputy smelled the odor of recently smoked marijuana. A search of the vehicle turned up a smoking pipe and 1.2 grams of methamphetamine.

Colin Dave Boatwright, 33, of Crystal River, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, Sept. 17, charged with battery ($5,000 bond). The arrest report stated that the victim told deputies, that during an argument, Boatwright knocked her cell phone from her hand and began striking her. The deputy reported that the victim had marks to her chest, upper left shoulder and back, where she said Boatwright had struck her. The deputy reported that Boatwright claimed that the woman had kicked his head and back and jammed her fingers into his mouth, but the deputy saw no marks to the areas Boatwright mentioned.

Inglis Ave. in Inglis - due to a vehicle not coming to a stop when pulling from a store's parking lot onto the roadwsay in the area of U.S. Hwy. 19 and Hwy. 40 - McIntosh refused to cooperate with deputies who eventually used a taser electronic weapon gain his compliance.

A deputy on patrol in the area of U.S. Highway 19 and Highway 40 in Inglis observed Mr. Ratley riding a bicycle at 6:53 am with no rear lighting on the bicycle. The arrest report stated that Ratley gave the deputy permission to search his person and possessions, and during the search, the deputy located a smoking pipe that tested positive for methamphytamine and 1.5 grams of cannabis.
