American Legion #155, Crystal River, donates $3K to CCSO's K9 Unit

Citrus County, Florida - Blanton-Thompson American Legion Post 155 of Crystal River, Florida visited the Citrus County Sheriff's Office's Main Operations Center in Inverness on Friday, August 14, to present the agency with a check of $3,000 to be used for the agency's K9 Division. Sheriff's office employees on hand to acccept the award included Sheriff Mike Prendergast, Major Elena Vitt, Major Justin Ferrara, Special Operations Sgt. Lee Carey, Sgt. Chris Dearden with K9 Ally, and Deputy Anthony Amato with K9 Calum.
