Axcel Aguilar Galindo, 33, of Fanning Springs, FL, was arrested by the Gilchrist County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, August 2, on an out of county warrant ($1,500 bond).

UPDATED:  Lelton Lee Barron, 38, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 5, on a Levy County, FL warrant for two counts of selling methamphetamine, and two counts of possession of drug equipment ($60,000 bond).

Joseph Bonavita, 52, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 3, charged with probation violation (no bond).

Marc Gerard Chevrette, 36, of Gainsville, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, August 5, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs with damage to property (no bond).

Joseph Antonio Collins, 43, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 5, charged with driving while license suspended, first offense; possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment ($20,000 bond).

Michael Cribbs, 28, of Old Town, FL, was arrested by the Dixie County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, August 2, charged with probation violation (no bond).

UPDATED:  Howard Lee Dayton, 35, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 1, charged with battery - a repeat offense ($50,000 bond), imprisonment of a person under the age of 13 ($100,000 bond), imprisonment of a person under the age of 13 (no bond), resisting or obstructing an officer without violence ($2,500 bond) and probation violation (no bond). The victrim stated that Dayton arrived at a Moriston residence where the victim's grandmother lived, to ask the victim and the victim's girlflriend for rent money. The arrest report stated that Dayton is accused of hitting the victim, several times to the top of his head and his lower jar, cuttng his left lower lip, and choking him while pushing him against a refrigerator. The grandmother told Dayton to leave, and he left before deputies arrived. Deputies initially were unable to locate Dayton, but later received a text message that gave them his location. Deputies arrived at the location to find Dayton, who was keeping a frightened woman and two very upset small children inside a room, against their will. The report stated that Dayton had been convicted of domestic battery in 2016 and domestic battery by strangulation in 2022.

Isaiah James Diehl, 19, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Williston Police Department, August 6, charged with unarmed burglary of an occupied dwelling, and second degree petit theft - first offense (no bond).

UPDATED:  Jessica Dawn Echols, 41, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 2, charged with having an unlawbul blood alcohol level of  0.15 or higher ($2,000 bond). The arrest report stated that a deputy was on patrol at St. Anthony's Church, located at 6090 SE 193rd Place in Inglis, when a white Mercedes drove into the church's parking lot at 10:25 pm. Echols was the driver and had dogs inside the car that were barking loudly, according to the report. She told a deputy that she was lost and had pulled into the parking lot so she could check her GPS location on her phone. The deputy reported that Echols displayed signs of impairment, and her Virginia driver's license was suspended. She performed poorly on roadside sobriety testing and was taken into custody. At the Levy County Detention Bureau, her alcohol breath testng results measured 0.196 and 0.190 - over the legal limit of 0.08. The repost stated that she'd been arrested in Lynchburg, Virgina on July 17, 2018 for driving under the influence, and she'd been convicted.

Brittney Amber Hays, 30, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 2, charged with larceny due to failing to remit sales tax in the amount of $300 or more but less than $20,000, with her bond set at release on her own recognizance.

Virtron Lamont Horton, Jr., 37, of Old Town, FL, was arrested by the Dixie County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, August 1, charged with probation violation (no bond).

Dalton Michael Hudson, 24, of Old Town, FL, was arrested by the Dixie County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, Sept. 13, 2022, and booked into the Levy County Detention Bureau, August 4, 2023, charged with two counts of probation violation (no bond).

Stephen Brant Hulst, 35, of Newberry, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 31, on an out of county warrant (release on his own recognizance bond).

Tricia Lynn Jentsch, 30, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 3, charged with probation violation (no bond).

Alexandra Joya, 37, of Kissemmee, FL, was arrested by the Cedar Key (Florida) Police Department, August 5, charged with battery, resisting or obstructing an officer without violence, and disturbing the peace ($12,000 bond).

Michael Kohn, 54, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department, August 2, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, and battery ($77,500 bond).

David Kulesza, 40, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 5, charged with carrying a concealed or electric weapon or similar device, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug equipment ($40,000 bond).

Timothy Lael, 38, of Cochran, GA, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 3, charged with failure to appear in court, with his bond set at credit for time servied (none).

Dalton Osteen, 24, of Horseshoe Beach, FL, was arrested by the Dixie County (Florida) Sheriff's Office, August 4, to be held at the Levy County Detention Bureau for court (no bond).

Mark Alan Owens, 52, of Brandon, MS, was arrested by an unspecified agency, August 6, on two out of county warrants (no bond).

UPDATED:  Kennedy Rose Potter, 18, of Morriston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 1, charged with criminal mischief with damage to property of $200 or more but less than $1,000, with her bond set at release on her own recognizance. According to the arrest report, six people arrived at a Williston residence, one of them the son of the victim, who asked the victim to give him some money she'd been holding for him.The victim told a deputy, that since her son uses drugs, she offered him food instead of money, and her son and his friends had thrown the food items onto the ground. A deputy reported seeing a frozen chicken, Ramen noodles and other food items scattered around the yard. The woman said that Potter threw a rock at a window, which damaged the screen and broke a window pane, with damages totaling $250. The report stated that the victim named Potter as the culprit, although Potter, who seemed confused according to the report, stated that the victim's son had thrown the rock.

Miguel Reyes, 55, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, August 4, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, with his bond set at relase on his own recognizance.

Jayson Raymond Rosio, 35, of Homosassa, FL, was arrested by an unspecified agency, August 4, to be held at the Levy County Detention Bureau for court (no bond).

James Arthur Scheider, 47, of Trenton, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, August 6, charged with driving while license suspended, first offense; possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted United States felon, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment (no bond).

Dana Stemple, 51, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol, July 31, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs ($1,500 bond).

Zhamoniq T'meka Nichole Stevens, 21, of Williston, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 31, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill ($15,000 bond).

Jeremy Michael Stovall, 44, of Chiefland, FL, was arrested by the Chiefland Police Department, August 6, charged with battery, a repeat offense; and obstruction of justice by tampering in a first degree felony proceeding ($10,000 bond). He was also charged with probation violation (no bond).

UPDATED:  Frank Terras, 52, of Inglis, FL, was arrested by the Levy County Sheriff's Office, July 31, charged with battery ($2,500 bond). According to the arrest report, the victim and his girlfriend were having lunch at Our Pub, located at 253 Highway 40 West in Inglis, when the victim made a comment about Terras to a woman, which upset the woman, and she reported the conversation to Terras, who arrived at the restaurant and got into an argument with the victim that escalated into profanities, so the men were told to leave the restaurant, and they did. While the victim's girlfriend was paying the bill, the victim and Terras got into another altercation in the parking lot, which became physical. The report stated that the victim had bleeding on the left side of the face to his lips, nose and eye, and also a black eye. The victim told deputies that he's slapped Terras, in self defense, but Terras had no noticeable mark on his face, so he was arrested as the primary agressor of the incident.
